Eating The Frog is a fun metaphor I’ve borrowed from Brian Tracy. He says that, “If the first thing you do when you wake up each morning is eat a live frog, nothing worse can happen for the rest of the day,” and therefore the first thing you should do is the “worst” thing on your To Do list.
I often use the “Eat a frog” metaphor with my clients as a quick way to identify the projects and tasks they are procrastinating on, or resisting. Carl Jung first said, “What you resist, persists.” I support my clients in identifying the source of resistance and together we take creative courageous action to not only eat the frog, but also to find ways to bring authentic enjoyment to the challenge at hand.
Bring Your Frog
I offer all my new clients a complimentary first phone consultation. I encourage you to “bring your frog” and use me as a resource to uncover the source of your procrastination. It’s much easier to “eat the frog” with an experienced coach by your side! Once we identify the frog, I’ll walk you through a process that dissolves procrastination and unleashes the reservoir of creativity beyond it. Yes, there is a reservoir of creative energy waiting for you on the other side!
